Ukrainian restaurant in the heart of Forest Gate

Dnister has been a Ukrainian restaurant in London since 2005. We cook what a Ukrainian family would cook at home: borscht, hand-made varenyky, holubtsi, salo, deruny and syrniky. In the week you can simply walk in for dinner, from 3pm Tuesday to Friday. At the weekend there is live music and dancing until late, so it is worth booking. We also host birthdays, weddings and celebrations, cater for events across London, and deliver through Deliveroo and Uber Eats.

Before you come

Do I need to book?

In the week you can simply walk in. At the weekend there is live music and dancing until late, so it is worth booking: book online or call 07412 295572.

Is there parking?

Parking on Romford Road is limited, but there is usually space in the side streets nearby. Forest Gate station (Elizabeth line) is about seven minutes on foot.

Can we bring children?

Yes, at any time of day. High chairs are available.

Vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free?

Dishes are marked v, vg and gf on the menu. Tell us about allergies when you book, or ask a member of staff.

When does the music stop?

Half an hour before we close.

Can we have our party at Dnister?

Can I order food to take away?

Any dish from the restaurant or banqueting menu can be ordered for collection. We also deliver through Deliveroo and Uber Eats.
